Overview

New Jersey Institute of Technology is also referred as NJIT it is a public research university. NJIT was established in 1881 by Edward Weston and with the support of inventors and industrialists of Newark?s 19th century. It is situated in the New York metropolitan. The institute admits more than 10,600 students in the campus, and around 30 percent of students live in the institute campus.

New Jersey Institute of Technology is a member of Association of Public and Land Grant Universities; it is also a member of the association of collegiate schools of architecture. According to US News and World Report the New Jersey institute of technology is named in the America?s best colleges by National Universities Category. It is also ranked 86th in the nation for best graduate college. There are many more rankings of this institution.
