The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is soon going to conduct the
Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2016 for the selection of eligible teachers for classes I to VIII from among the applicants. The scheduled date of the exam has been declared to be 21st February 2016. A large number of candidates will be appearing in the test, and they are busy preparing for the exam. For the preparation, they surely need to be well acquainted with the CBSE CTET Feb 2016 Exam Pattern and the CTET Feb 2016 Exam Syllabus. The syllabus of the exam along with the pattern of the question paper has been provided here through this article. The basic knowledge of educational psychology of children of ages ranging from 6 to 11 years.

Proficiency in the specific language.

Detailed elements and other abilities related to the respective language.

Basic math questions with a difficulty level of Classes VI to VIII.

Environmental Science
Basic topics of the subject, such as pollution and damage caused in nature, focused on classes I t V.

CTET 2016 Exam Pattern
- The CTET 2016 will be held in the form of two separate papers based on the Classes that the teacher is to work in.
- Paper I will be conducted for the selection of Primary Teachers in different schools across India, while Paper II will be the basis of selection of Elementary Teachers.
- The subjects assessed in both the papers are quite similar, but the level of difficulty of the question papers is very different. Paper II is far tougher than Paper I.
- CTET 2016 is a written examination which is carried out in a duration of two and a half hours.
- The maximum marks for the exam are 150.
- The question paper will consist of 30 multiple choice questions (MCQs) each carrying 5 marks.

The following tips will help you prepare better for successfully qualifying the CTET 2016.
- Prepare for Paper I and Paper II separately. The level of difficulty of questions asked in the Paper I is relatively much easier than that of questions in Paper II.
