GATE 2016 Score Card:
As it is going to be a month now since the end of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, 2016 the anxiety amongst the students who appeared for the exam this year and are waiting for the results is certainly soaring high. Indian Institute of Science has already declared the GATE result date and time which is set on March 19th, 17:00hrs and the GATE 2016 Score Card will be available shortly after the declaration of the results.
IISC had declared the GATE, 2016 test dates in the month of August, 2015 and the registration process, which started from September 1, was completed smoothly in time. GATE 2016 was jointly directed by the IISC and the seven IIT’s of the country. GATE 2016 had a revised syllabus and was different from that of GATE 2015. The duration of the Computer Based Test was 3 hours and it included MCQ type questions.

Download GATE Score Card 2016:
It has been announced by IISC that the GATE 2016 Score Card of the students who have qualified the GATE 2016 will be available for download on the website gate.iisc.ernet.in from 27th of March till 29th of March, 2016. It has been clearly mentioned by IISC that the GATE 2016 Score Card will be available for free download only for the stipulated duration and in case any student misses to download the same during the span, they will need to apply separately for downloading the soft copy of the score card on a later date on payment of an additional fee of Rs. 500.
So, after the declaration of the GATE 2016 Scores on 19th March, the qualified students are highly suggested to make it a point to complete the GATE 2016 Score Card download from gate.iisc.ernet.in within the mentioned span. Candidates should also note that there are no provisions for getting a hard copy of the score card.
Calculation of the Score, GATE 2016
The raw scores obtained by the students in the GATE 2016, will be normalized according to the specified formulas and the Normalization will be calculated separately for papers that were held on a single session and the ones held in multiple sessions in order to take into account the difficulty levels of the question papers. How to download the GATE 2016 Score Card
• Log in to GOAPS
• Enter your Enrollment ID or Email ID along with the password in the stipulated boxes
• Click on the “Submit” button after verifying that you have provided all the right information and the score card will be displayed along with a downloadable format.
Note: The Score Card for GATE 2016 will be available only for the students who have qualified the GATE 2016.
IISC will declare the GATE 2016 results branch wise, Name wise, Roll No. wise on the official GATE 2016 site and students are suggested to stay in regular touch with the site for any latest updates on the same.
