IIT JAM 2016 Result Declaration:
The IIT Joint Admission Test for Master’s programs (JAM) 2016 was organized by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on the 7th of February. Aspirants from all parts of the country appeared in the test at different exam centers to gain admission in one of the postgraduate programs offered by the IITs and IISc. The programs that candidates will be selected for include the following:
- MSc (2 years),
- MSc-MTech,
- MSc-MS (Research) / PhD Dual Degree,
- MSc PhD,
- MSc PhD Dual Degree, etc.
Two sessions were held for the exam, viz.
- Morning (9 AM to 12 PM): including Biological Sciences, Physics, and Mathematics.
- Evening (2 PM to 5 PM): including Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematical Statistics, and Geology.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has completed the Joint Admission Test (JAM) 2016 on 7th Feb. The candidates are waiting eagerly for the result of the exam, to know whether or not they successfully qualified it. The cutoff marks for the exam, too, will be released along with the result.
