Can you do an MBA without work experience in the UK?
It’s true that most MBA schools and universities abroad prefer candidates with at least one or two years of work experience. However, it is possible to enroll in an MBA program without prior work experience. The main reason for MBA universities and B-schools to prefer admitting candidates with work experience is that these students would be better equipped to handle group discussions and case studies.
Although there are universities in the UK that offer MBA without work experience, it would be advisable to check the credibility of these courses and ensure that the course content is rigorous and is not lagging behind in any way. For instance, some universities offering MBA without work experience have poor placement facilities. Nevertheless, there are some Indian students who choose to work on a part-time basis in order to repay the loans. It is always recommended that you do thorough research on the University and MBA program before leaping into it.

Most of these universities offer entry-level courses that allow students to explore the exciting world of international management. Some of the universities that offer MBA programs without prior work experience are Anglia Ruskin University, University of Bedfordshire, Coventry University, Cardiff University, University of Aberdeen, etc. The curriculum is designed to facilitate students without work experience and help them to cope with the rigorous coursework and assignments. Applicants with a second class honors degree and a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 would be preferred.
Even though the number of universities offering MBA programs without work experience is increasing, a large number of people still believe in the importance of work experience as a deciding factor in the admissions process.
