  • The applicants have to log on to the website mppsc.nic.in
  • There would be a link named ‘State Services Prelims 2016 Admit card’. The applicants have to find it and click on it.  and click
  • After clicking the option a window would open where the applicants have to enter their required detail and then the detail has to be submitted.
  • After successful submission of authentic information, the hall ticket would appear to be downloaded.

The candidates should carry their MPPSC State Service Prelims admit card 2016 or hall ticket to enter the exam centre. The prelims exam has been scheduled to be conducted on coming 29th May, 2016.

MPPSC State Service Prelims Exam Pattern

The state service exam pattern is similar to that of the Indian Administrative Services exam. The written exam is conducted in 2 phases. The first one is the MPPSC State Service Prelims and after that the mains examination. The successful candidates from the prelims exam are called for the mains exam. The final candidates, who would clear the mains stage, would appear to the personal interview. It is the final step.

Posts to be offered to the Successful Candidates

The finally successful candidates are offered with the top administrative posts of state. The state service exam is conducted for the posts of Sub Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of District Jail, District Registrar, Commercial Tax Officer, Chief Municipal Officer (Group B), District Supply Officer, Child Development Project Officer, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, and so on.

The Pattern of Preliminary Exam

The preliminary exam would be conducted for two separate papers comprising of objective type questions. The Paper I would be of General Studies where the candidates would have to answer questions of total 200 marks in 2 hours. The Paper II would be of General Aptitude Test which also comprises of 200 marks and the allowed time to finish it is 2 hours. Both papers would have multiple choice questions where for options would be provided and the candidate has to mark the right option. Each question would be of 2 marks i.e. there would be total 100 questions in each paper. Both question papers would be set in both Hindi and English language. Candidates are requested to collect their Admit Card 2016 and appear the exam.
