PU MET 2016 Result:
The Punjab University had earlier released a notification to invite the students who are interested in pursuing MBA from Punjab University. Management Entrance Test (MET) is conducted by Punjab University every year to give admissions to the students and provide them with a MBA degree into the subjects like Retail Management, Banking and Insurance Management, IT and Telecommunications Management, Infrastructural Management, Pharmaceutical Management and Hospital Management at the University Institute of Applied Management Science (UIAMS).
The Punjab University has successfully conducted the Management entrance test on 12th March. A tentative date for the announcement of PU MET 2016 Result is mentioned on the official website which is 11th April, 2016. But, as we can see the result has not been declared on the given date so it is expected to be declared today. PU MET 2016 Cut Off Marks:
The Minimum Marks required to get selected for the next round will be revealed as soon as the result will be declared. Candidates can check last year’s cut off marks list to get an idea about the PU MET 2016 Cut Off Marks as there is not going to be much difference in the Cut off marks list.
The admission will be made on the basis of the entrance test which has 85 percent weightage, group discussion which holds 7.5 percent weightage and personal interview having 7.5 percent weightage. The result of the Entrance Test will not be sent to the candidates. The comprehensive result after the Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be notified on the UIAMS notice board as well as the UIAMS website. The number of candidates to be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be eight times the total number of seats of all these courses in each category. Those who will clear all three rounds will be given admission to the MBA course.
The seats are distributed by the Exam conducting body in both open (General) and reserved Category: 55.5% seats are given to General category while 44.5% seats are distributed among reserved ( SC, ST, OBC, Physically Disabled, etc.) category.
