British Council Scotland Scholarships
It’s a scholarship to support the talented students who are keen to attend the summer school but can’t do that because of lack of funds. For the 2-week Theatre and Performance course, four scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and financial need. These scholarships cover the entire course and accommodation fees but students are required to bear the traveling expense and spending money.
Students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses in Theatre and Performance can apply for this scholarship.
Goa Education Trust Scholarships
The Goan Education Trust was formed in 2009 by the Dempo and the Fomento Group in collaboration with the British Council. The motive of the trust is to provide financial support to the Goan students to attain their higher education degrees from the top UK universities in various fields of study like Journalism, Ancient History, Journalism and Law.
From 2015 onwards the scholarship was opened to all the Indian Scholarships. So, now all the Indian nationals applying for a Masters in the UK can apply for this scholarship.
Hornby Scholarships
The A. S. Hornby Educational Trust was founded in 1961 in the UK. The aim of this charity trust is to aid the teaching of English as a foreign language worldwide. The trust provides scholarships to study 1 year full-time Master’s program in an English Language Teaching related subject in the UK.
Commonwealth Scholarship
The Commonwealth Scholarships are provided to the students from the commonwealth countries so that they can contribute to the betterment of their home countries after the completion of their higher education program in the UK.
These scholarships are given to those students who want to pursue 1-year full-time master’s program or equivalent degree and the students who are pursuing a Doctoral degree for 3-4 years duration.

GREAT Scholarships
The British council has announced 198 scholarships worth over 1 million pounds under GREAT Education scholarships for the 2019 session.
29 scholarships are available for the students who want to pursue undergraduate courses and 169 for those who want to pursue postgraduate courses. The subjects include Engineering, Business, Art & Design, Law, Biosciences, IT and more. Students can apply to 40 UK colleges across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
