The Union Public Service Commission conducts the Combined Defense Services
Examination (CDS). The exam will be conducted on February 14, 2016. UPSC organizes the CDS examination twice a year in two phases. First phase of the exam is conducted in February and March while the Second phase is conducted in October and November. UPSC CDS 1 Admit Card 2016 is now available on the official website of UPSC that is www.upsc.gov.in. Candidates can download their respective CDs 1 admit cards by the Registration number of application form. The UPSC CDS Admit Card 2016 specifies candidate information, examination venue and timing details. The link to download the admit card can be operated only after the Commission issues the hall ticket. UPSC CDS 2016 Admit Card is issued three weeks before the examination. The admit card is expected to be released around the third week of January. For downloading UPSC CDS 1 hall Ticket 2016, a candidate should enter the following details –
- Registration ID and Date of Birth
- Roll number and Date of Birth

The procedure to download UPSC CDS Admit Card 2016 is stated below –
- Go to the official website of UPSC that is upsc.gov.in.
- Search for the link that says e-Admit Card – Combined Defense Services Examination 1, 2016.
- A bar will appear highlighting the option for downloading the e-Admit Card.
- Candidates will have to click on the option “Click Here”.
- Enter the necessary details which are Roll number and Registration number.
- After entering the necessary details, press Submit.
- The Admit Card will appear on the screen.
- Take a print out of your e-Admit Card.
UPSC CDS 1 Hall Ticket 2016 should be carried by all the candidates for getting admission inside the examination hall. It serves as an ID proof for appearing in the examination. UPSC CDS 1 Exam Pattern 2016 is defined and subtle. Questions asked in the question paper are objective type with multiple choice answers. Subjects considered in this examination are –

- Elementary Mathematics
Each subject carries 100 marks and the numbers of questions asked in each subject are 120. Total number of questions is 340 and total time given to solve the question paper is 360 minutes. 0.33 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. After clearing the examination, candidates will have to appear in front of the Service Selection Board (SSB) for an interview.
