Eligibility:
UK
For UG courses in UK, premier universities used to require 13 years of pre-university education. This rule was recently changed and now UK universities require CBSE plus-two certificate to admission to UG courses.
For PG courses, you can get admissions after finishing three-year UG degree. To get admission in management courses, you will have to appear for GMAT. For science courses, you may not need to give the GRE exam so check with university first.
You may also need to have few year of work experience to apply to management courses in UK. IELTS or TOEFL may not be needed by any university but it is mandatory for visa purposes.
Canada
For UG courses, you need to have completed 12 years of schooling. To get admission, you need to appear for SAT exam.
For PG courses, getting admission in vocational courses is easier as the eligibility criteria is a lot more flexible. For management degrees, you need to appear for GMAT and for engineering degrees, you need to appear for GRE exam.
The concept of cut off doesn’t apply to Canadian colleges. Colleges will provide the average score accepted by them on their websites which will give students an idea on what is considered a good score. You will also need to appear for a language exam like TOEFL or IELTS. Many universities may not require language test but it is still advisable to appear in one for visa purposes.

Post-study work permit:
UK
In 2012 Tier 1 (post-study work) was close to new applicants. So, technically you don’t get a post work visa with a student visa. If you want to work there after your studies, then you need to apply for a Tier 2 visa which is meant for highly skilled workers.
In order to be eligible to apply for Tier 2, your annual lowest wage for the new job should be £20,500 or above.
You can stay and work in the UK with a Tier 2 visa for a maximum of 5 years.
Canada
The Canadian post-graduation work visa allows students to graduate from any post-secondary institute to work post studying for a maximum of 3 years. Under this work permit, the student can work in any field or industry.
